Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, architecting, maintaining, and optimizing our software systems to ensure they are scalable, performant, and maintainable.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable, efficient, and maintainable software systems using domain-driven design and microservice architecture.
- Develop RESTful APIs and work with AWS services, including Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Api Gateway, EC2, RDS, KDS, SQS, and CodeBuild.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and contribute to the improvement of our development processes.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployments and optimize system performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development.
- Strong background in distributed systems, AWS Cloud services, and microservice architecture.
- Excellent knowledge of Java, Scala, or other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with relational databases, including query analysis, partitioning, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Expertise in Git, Jenkins/CodeBuild-based deployments, and test-driven development.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a Scrum team.
- Fluency in English (C1/C2 level).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience implementing event-driven or queue-driven services.
