We are seeking a highly skilled Global Senior Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team within the SAP Customer Services & Delivery board. As a key member of our global SAP Enterprise Architects team, you will play a critical role in helping our customers drive digital transformation using cutting-edge SAP technologies.
As a Global Senior Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for supporting the roll-out of Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Enterprise Architecture (EA) methods into the regions, developing regional flavors to achieve a consistent execution of the Business Technology Platform and Enterprise Architecture. You will collaborate closely with other teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and guidelines.
You will establish a deep understanding of EA's business benefit, build-up easily accessible repositories for industry-flavored artefacts, assets, and deliverables together with other teams while supporting the roll-in method evolution from Program and Enterprise Architecture to delivery. You will act as an advocate for EA across engagements within global engagements and support regional and Market Unit (MU) architecture initiatives within and beyond Customer Services & Delivery.
You will support the development, management, and adaptation of architectural frameworks, methods, and tools. You will work closely with the partner ecosystem, SIX, and Marketing to develop formats to make architectural discussions tangible for customers and infuse transformational architectural discussions in every customer interaction across the globe.
You will drive forward the further development of the EA role's vision, responsibility, tasks, and embedding an architectural mindset across the organization.
About YouWe are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in enterprise business transformation projects and alignment of customer priorities with target architecture and roadmap. You should have knowledge of the SAP Solution Portfolio and Enterprise Architecture Framework (North Star). Experience with Business Technology Platform components (application development, automation, data and analytics, integration, AI) and practical experience with S/4HANA applications is essential.
You should have a strong understanding of Cloud & Clean Core Strategy, familiarity with SAP LeanIX, Signavio, and Cloud ALM. Knowledge of SAP's Business AI roadmap, including identifying use cases and piloting AI-driven solutions to enhance business processes, is also required. Expertise in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory Methodologies is a must.
You should have at least 5 years of experience in customer experience roles (e.g., Program Manager, Architect), with experience in end-to-end architectural design for hybrid solution landscapes. You should be proficient in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory Methodologies and Clean Core principles. Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills (in English) at the senior management level within an IT team and across business functions are essential.
Mindset for Strategic Thinking, Continuous Learning, and Business Acumen is a must. Knowledge of on-premise and corresponding SAP cloud solutions is a plus. Professional training and certification (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework featured by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect [P_SAPEA_2023], TOGAF) is also a plus.
