Job Summary
We're looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in Environmental Social Governance (ESG) and Supply Chain Compliance to support our Global Purchasing Organization. As an ESG & LkSG Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our suppliers meet the highest standards of sustainability, social responsibility, and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- ESG Champion: Act as the subject matter expert for ESG-related matters, providing guidance and support to our Global Magna MML Purchasing team and suppliers.
- Supply Chain Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in our supply chain, ensuring compliance with ESG and LkSG regulations.
- Compliance and Reporting: Develop and implement data tracking tools to monitor supplier performance, track ESG metrics, and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with our Global Commodity Management team to provide training and support to suppliers on ESG best practices and compliance requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders, including our Global Purchasing Team and Divisions, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on ESG-related matters.
- Process Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve our ESG processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and cost savings.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in ESG and Supply Chain Compliance, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel and data visualization software.
