Join Volotea as a Junior Aerospace Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Aerospace Engineer to join our team at Volotea. As a key member of our Fuel Efficiency and Ops area, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and developing improvement opportunities that drive benefits and generate value for our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and develop improvement opportunities throughout the company to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Contribute to the control and improvement of key indicators in the Fuel Efficiency and Ops area.
  • Manage the relationship with external efficiency suppliers and implement their projects in Volotea.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for reporting of results and presentation of opportunities.
  • Financial control and projections of the company's fuel consumption, as well as deviations versus budget.
Requirements:
  • Aeronautical Management or Aerospace Engineering background.
  • 1-3 years of experience within an airline or flight operations department is desirable.
  • Demonstrated abilities in gathering information systematically, grasping complexities, perceiving relationships between factors, and root cause analysis.
  • Goal-oriented and proactive mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and programming tools.
  • Excellent English skills.
