Madrid, Madrid, España Alstom A tiempo completo

At Alstom, we are dedicated to understanding transportation networks and the movement of people. Are you ready to take on the role of a FULL-TIME INDUSTRIAL PLANNER ?

Your Future Responsibilities

Embrace a new challenge and leverage your expertise in Planning and Industrial processes within a pioneering environment. Collaborate with a dynamic team of talented professionals.

Your primary focus will be to manage Demand (both Firm & Forecast) to meet customer Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) requirements while optimizing site resources (personnel & finances). Your responsibilities will vary based on the specific site you are assigned to. Daily, you will engage closely with various departments across the organization, including Manufacturing, Testing, Industrialization, Tender, Project Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, and the Central Demand Team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Consolidating and analyzing demand forecasts (Bill of Quantities / Bill of Materials and forecast plans) from the tender and project teams, as well as the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) demand plan.
  • Ensuring the consistency and completeness of demand forecasts and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Inputting demand forecasts into the Global Supply Integration (GSI) system and/or Short-Term Monthly Demand Planning tools.
  • Managing the anticipation process by consolidating, verifying approval processes, and performing netting when Sales Orders are placed.
  • Validating the alignment between project team needs and supplier lead times for firm demand before entering the firm requirements into GSI.
  • Ensuring that the data within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is current and accurate.
  • Collaborating on the quarterly S&OP processes.
  • Developing industrial planning for opportunities in alignment with inputs from the tender team, project team, site strategic plans, and existing firm projects.
  • Conducting operations workload versus workforce analysis and identifying bottlenecks in site capacity.
  • Providing outputs to the central S&OP team for global consolidation.
  • Ensuring that S&OP decisions are accurately reflected in the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes.
  • Participating in the SIOP cycle by conducting necessary simulations and proposing feasible scenarios to support decision-making.
  • Ensuring that SIOP decisions are communicated effectively throughout the organization and to internal/external suppliers.
  • Reporting Work In Progress (WIP) and Finished Goods (FG) for timely consolidation.
  • Guaranteeing that all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are calculated according to standard procedures.

About You

We prioritize passion and attitude over experience. While we do not expect you to possess every skill, the following qualifications will be beneficial for your success in this role:

  • A degree from a university or engineering school (Master's level preferred).
  • 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain or Planning roles.
  • Familiarity with the end-to-end vision for the Industrial Planning process and its impact on ERP for procurement and manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Proficient knowledge of Core Planning Tools, ERP systems, and Excel.
  • A high level of proficiency in English is essential.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Innovative, proactive, and self-sufficient.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • A sense of urgency and the ability to synthesize critical issues.

What You Will Enjoy

Join us on a transformative journey within the rail industry, where you can develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You will also:
