Kempinski Hotels is seeking a highly skilled Revenue Manager to join our team in Estepona, Spain.
Key Responsibilities- Revenue Strategy and Forecasting: Develop and implement pricing strategies to drive revenue growth, optimize room revenue, and increase market share.
- Data Analysis: Monitor market conditions, analyze data from various sources, and prepare monthly comments on segmentation, country statistics, room type optimization, and upselling opportunities.
- Strategy Setting and Deployment: Identify need periods, adapt sales and pricing strategies, set rate structures, and implement sales and pricing strategies across all distribution channels.
- Inventory and Risk Management: Manage inventory, control no-show and late cancellation charges, and monitor reservation pick-up for the coming months.
- Sales and Upselling: Ensure the Reservations Team is aware of all prices, promotions, and packages available, and maintain an internal upsell/cross-sell program.
- Communication and Leadership: Provide regular Revenue Management updates to the Executive Committee, lead the Weekly Revenue Meeting, and organize educational and information meetings.
- Education: Minimum of high school, Baccalaureat (Abitur), A-level exam, and a Professional Certification (Bachelor, University Degree, Hotel School Diploma).
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in Revenue Management, including electronic distribution, with a proven track record of increasing revenue streams.
- Languages: Excellent verbal and written skills in English, with local language skills (as applicable).
- Computer Skills: Opera PMS, Opera Central Systems/SynXis, Channel Manager, RMS knowledge (preferably with IDeaS or EZRMS), and advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
- People Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage direct reports and drive results.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management and Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with the Executive Committee and other departments.
- Driving Results: Proven track record of increasing revenue streams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial and Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of commercial and financial concepts to make informed decisions.
- Strategic Thinking and Innovation: Ability to think strategically and innovate to drive revenue growth and improve processes.
- Change Management: Strong change management skills to adapt to changing market conditions and implement new strategies.
- Kempinski Brand Identification: Strong understanding of the Kempinski brand and values to promote and uphold the brand.
