About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Specialist to join our team at Vitrolife Group.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Test Performance and Reporting: The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high complexity tests and reporting test results in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Quality Control and Assurance: The candidate will identify and correct any problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results.
  3. Documentation and Record Keeping: The Diagnostic Specialist will maintain accurate and detailed records of patient test results and document any non-conformities and corrective actions taken.
  4. Client Communication: The candidate will communicate effectively with clients to provide and retrieve necessary information required for testing, guidance, and client assistance.
  5. Witness and Documentation: The Diagnostic Specialist will witness the analytical and post-analytical procedure and ensure proper documentation is in place.
  6. Flexibility and Organization: The candidate will be capable of working on weekends and graveyard hours depending on the workload and specific circumstances, and be organized and responsible to ensure all laboratory testing is conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
  7. Quality Control and Assurance: The Diagnostic Specialist will participate in validation of new tests or test upgrades and conduct molecular analysis techniques and interpretation of results using different platforms.
Requirements
  1. Licensure and Education: The successful candidate will possess a current license issued by the Country/State in which the laboratory is located if such licensing is required, and have earned a doctoral, master's, or bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
  2. Training and Experience: The candidate will have education and training equivalent to that specified before by having at least 3 months documented laboratory training in each specialty in which the individual performs high complexity testing.
