Global Digitalization Transformation Deployment Manager

This role will serve as the PLM Digitalization Deployment Manager for new factories deploying Windchill PLM processes and tools. The role will also focus on global organizational change management for our large PLM program, including building change management strategy, communications approaches, and robust expert training capabilities.

Responsibilities:
- Lead as a strong, seasoned, and expert Project Manager new factory deployments and the engineering process transformation surrounding PLM best practices in our global locations.
- Engage in requirements engineering to decide which requirements are covered by available standard Windchill functionalities, for which functionalities enhancements may be needed.
- Help define with the expert team the Windchill solution and ensures alignment with other modules, business processes, and surrounding IS applications through cooperation and collaboration across IS technical solution architects and IS delivery units.
- Provide thought leadership in PLM best practices in front of our factory stakeholders to help them understand business value drivers.
- Rapidly build our Organizational Change Management and Training capabilities globally, so in this role we would like to see your leadership skills to:
- Define the organization and various training approaches to achieve Organizational Change Management, to train users in Hitachi Vantara Corporation best practices processes in the PLM Digitalization space.
- Build a PLM/Windchill certification program for various functions in our user base.
- Build a global training team to support the Power Grids Transformers (PGTR) as their PLM program drives PLM best practices and tools out to our 70+ global factories.
- Strengthen our global PLM key user community's training.
- Perform hands-on PLM/Windchill training to key factory design engineers when required, also leveraging external partners to deliver training aligned with local languages and time zones.
Requirements:
- At least five years of experience as a business analyst in the Engineering PLM domain using Windchill, preferably for the engineering/manufacturing industry, working inside a leading, major global company, with at 10 years work experience with Digital Transformation.
- Substantial comfort and experience interacting with factory and engineering experts, preferably with some background in user training/teaching in the PLM domain.
- Comfortable working closely with I.T. counterparts to help them capture, document, and refine complex customer requirements (both high-level and detailed) within your area of expertise.
- Experience in usage principles of CAD design products and how they relate to PLM programs.
- Must have strong international background and perspective and experience, and must be willing to travel to target factories occasionally for 1-2 weeks at a time, though most work will be done with the global team remotely.
- Proficient in PLM domain-specific skills, as well as strong problem solving, analytical thinking, and ability to weigh various solution options with a PLM expert team.
- Highly proactive and results-driven attitude, ability to take ownership of projects and show a track record of delivering several projects in parallel.
- Experience and ability to work with virtual delivery teams as well as distributed stakeholders in multinational companies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate fluently in English in a global multi-cultural, diverse environment as a must.
- Strong understanding of PLM Windchill.
