About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Design Engineer to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our HVAC Mechanical Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing HVAC systems in various locations across the world.
Key Responsibilities- Perform HVAC loads calculations and water and air distribution systems sizing calculations
- Prepare specifications for mechanical/HVAC equipment and develop design documents, including ventilation, piping, and instrument diagrams and layout drawings
- Provide planning, support, design, and supervision of the company's HVAC systems in various Evolution locations across the world
- Communicate directly with the design team to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications, and operational environments to evaluate cost, feasibility, and implementation of new Water/Sewage equipment
- Manage or supervise specialists and sub-contractors working with the company's HVAC systems
- Analyze HVAC systems and equipment when necessary to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and create solutions to optimize performance and increase the efficiency of operation
- Capable of developing design documents, including ventilation, piping, and instrument diagrams and layout drawings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
