About the Role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Engineer to lead and deliver outstanding mechanical engineering projects. As part of our Building Services Engineering team, you will be responsible for guiding technical design throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating mechanical system design with electrical engineers, architects, and other design professionals, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards/practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical design and delivery of HVAC projects
  • Coordinate mechanical system design with cross-functional teams
  • Design and deliver HVAC, controls, and plumbing facilities
  • Perform HVAC calculations and analysis using industry-standard software
  • Conduct design drawing reviews and field investigations
  • Evaluate cost-effectiveness of design alternatives and recommend implementation
  • Develop technical specifications, plans, elevations, and details
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards/practices
Requirements
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
  • Minimum 10 years of related HVAC/Mechanical Design Engineering experience
  • Strong technical background and knowledge of international regulations and standards
  • Proficiency in engineering calculation software and experience with Revit
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
