About the Role:

We are seeking a Business Systems Engineer to join our Data Engineering and Analytics team. As a Business Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the power and efficiency of our systems architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze our current synchronized methodology to propose cutting-edge integration strategies and present improvements that ensure data consistency
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, weighing implementation strategies and clearly communicating trade-offs and reasoning
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, align methodologies, and uphold best practices in data movement
  • Enhance operational efficiency by providing repeatable, well-documented solutions that bring clarity to our codebase

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of sales and finance business processes, and experience with implementing business processes via technical solutions
  • A curiosity for understanding not just what happens, but why it happens, and achieving problem definition before launching strategies
  • Ability to weigh the trade-offs of different approaches to a given problem, and to clearly communicate the reasoning for a proposed solution
  • Clear written and verbal communication about your work, your perspective, and your needs
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment, managing your time and contributions efficiently without direct supervision
  • A caring mind-frame and an empathetic spirit and the ability to think from other perspectives
