About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Continuous Improvement Team Leader to join our Service Center team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our After-Sales Service team, you will be responsible for driving excellence in customer service, leading new improvement projects, and developing the team's capabilities to support our overall After-Sales Service strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a strong culture of safety & quality and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Lead new improvement projects, striving for excellence in customer service.
  • Manage and develop the team's capabilities to support the overall After-Sales Service strategy.
  • Develop, motivate, and train the team, ensuring continuous improvement & processes deployment in the service center.
  • Ensure tasks related to continuous improvement are carried out according to standards, prioritizing urgency and importance.
  • Monitor existing systems, challenge them, and develop new ones to achieve full process standardization, reduce lead times, and variations.
  • Specialize and optimize the use of resources, increasing productivity and competitiveness of the Service Center.
  • Implement continuous improvements in safety and efficiency based on the Alfa Laval Production System and innovative processes and technologies.
Requirements
  • Technical education in engineering (preferably Industrial Engineering).
  • Training in Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in mechanical repairs and maintenance.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a team leader.
  • Skills in calculations and blueprint interpretation.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is required. High level of proficiency in spoken and written English is also necessary.
  • Advanced proficiency in office software tools.
