About the Position

Werfen, a global leader in specialized diagnostics, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team. As a key strategic role, this position will provide financial oversight and leadership to our businesses in the country, contributing to results optimization through analysis, procedure implementation, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting, Tax, Audit, and Legal:
    • Oversee preparation of financial statements and corporate reporting for headquarters on a monthly basis.
    • Ensure compliance with international standards and local requirements.
    • Coordinate day-to-day operations of the financial department and cash-flow.
    • Manage financial audits and produce recommendations for procedure improvement.
    • Lead the implementation of corporate procedures in the affiliate.
    • Establish and maintain internal controls and safeguards.
    • Identify risk (taxes, accounting, etc.).
    • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and optimize taxes.
    • Supervise payroll processing, hiring, and dismissal of personnel, and management of personnel training records.
  • Finance Business Partner:
    • Provide financial and business analysis to support all activities and projects in the country, ensuring adequate monitoring and decision-making.
    • Conduct constant analysis of business profitability, including customer analysis, pricing, and margins analysis.
    • Support the General Manager and Department Directors in taking commercial decisions.
    • Lead the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts for decision-making.
    • Manage and coordinate financial planning and budget management.
    • Monitor and analyze monthly operational results against budget and prior year.
    • Propose and lead initiatives to minimize expenses and maximize profit.
    • Coordinate with commercial departments on customer conditions (profitability analysis, payment terms, credit limits, pricing, discounts, etc.).
  • Key Networks and Relationships:
    • Interaction with senior management.
    • Cooperation with all department managers of the affiliate and corporate back-office departments (IT, Supply Chain, Corporate Finance, Controlling, etc.) to ensure complete information and analysis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's and master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • More than 3 years of experience in M&A in a Big4 firm or corporate setting.
  • Experience in finance with multinational companies, including consolidation work, may be considered.
  • Extensive knowledge of advanced accounting and financial reporting concepts, principles, and practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with digital finance applications is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the accounting system SAP is also a plus.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; other language skills desired.
