We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our growing team at Zurich Insurance Company. As a Project Manager, you will play a vital part in supporting the successful planning, execution, and delivery of various projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the implementation of solutions and applications, including planning and coordination.
- Assist with change management planning and execution, including training and communication.
- Develop and maintain project documentation and project materials.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Assist in project planning and development, including creating project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate and manage project tasks, delegating work to team members and monitoring progress.
- Track project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Identify and resolve project issues proactively.
- Stay up to date on project management methodologies and best practices.
- Provide insight and analysis and execute plans as required under the guidance of an experienced project lead.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and senior management.
- Apply knowledge of the business processes, products, services, and applications to provide educated recommendations for improvements.
- Conduct research, analysis, and interpretation of technology and operational issues.
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field ideally within an IT background (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in project management or a related field (or relevant internship experience).
- Proven understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tooling (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, MS Project, MS Azure DevOps).
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficient communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Good self-management skills and stress resilience.
- Highly organized with particularly good attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Team player who is skilled at building up and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Spanish and German language skills are a plus.
- Sound knowledge of the insurance industry, ideally Commercial Insurance is of advantage.
- Option to work remotely within Spain even up to 100% - you choose; with option to work abroad up to 25 days yearly.
