Key Responsibilities- Developing Android applications that meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and effectiveness
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess technical feasibility and contribute to technical concepts
- Setting up demo environments for internal teams and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
- Applying Agile and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles to maximize quality and efficiency
- Performing functional analysis and creating system designs that meet requirements
- Developing automated and manual tests to characterize and verify sub-systems
- Ensuring compliance with applicable standards and guidelines, such as ISO62304, ISO60601, and ISO14971
- Maintaining traceability between requirements, test cases, verification, and reports
- Contributing to configuration management and technical reviews
- Relevant app development experience of at least 5 years, preferably in active (implantable) medical devices or another highly regulated environment
- Strong engineering background, such as computer science
- Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodology and tools, such as Jira
- Familiarity with Bluetooth communication protocols
- Familiarity with software build and test infrastructures, such as Jenkins, GIT, and Cucumber
- Experience with Android Clean Architecture and ability to see the big picture
- Highly skilled in developing in Kotlin and experienced in relevant frameworks, such as Coroutines
- Able to build UI using Jetpack Compose and build a scalable multi-brand application using a multi-modular setup
- Experience with test-driven development and ability to write testable code
- Critical thinking and ability to review PR with care and communicate improvements positively
- System thinking and ability to identify areas of potential improvement and develop plans to execute improvements
- High-energy, self-motivated, and proactive individual with good analytical skills, reliability, pragmatism, and result-driven approach
- Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
