The Edge Platform Opportunity

Roche Diagnostics is revolutionizing the healthcare industry by bringing together complex diagnostic and treatment data to intelligently process and present it to healthcare professionals. We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to join our team and contribute to this exciting project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans and test cases from requirements and design, and own the delivery of a test plan for a release.
  • Work within our DevOps toolset and extend the automation testing aspects as needed.
  • Mentor and develop the team in good software practices and testing fundamentals.

Requirements

  • BS degree or equivalent in a directly related discipline (CS, Eng, etc.).
  • 3+ years experience as a quality or test engineer.
  • 3+ years of experience working in agile fashion in projects with multiple squads.
  • Proven track-record testing large scale, enterprise (SaaS) applications with complex data models and workflows.
  • Obsession for quality and automation.
  • Conversational proficiency in English.
  • Source control management experience with GIT.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple test tools - Selenium, Postman, etc.
  • Hands-on software development experience in either Java, C++ or C#.

Nice to Have

  • BDD experience leveraging cucumber, gherkin or similar.
  • Experience with performance test tools like jmeter or similar.
  • Experience in integrating test automation in CI/CD environments (Github actions, jenkins, etc.).
  • Experience in healthcare is not required, but familiarity with data standards and workflows is a plus (HL7, IHE).
