Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Software Development Professional to join our international multi-site team. The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of the software development cycle, from design, implementation, and unit testing of a commercial web-based scientific software product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with other team members to deliver complete and high-quality software products to customers, according to schedules and specifications.
  • Creation of documentation and other artifacts needed to support our quality system, including specifications, architecture diagrams, or design documents.
  • Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, planning, product demonstration, and review meetings.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalently technical fields.
  • 0 to 2 years of software development experience in required technology.
  • Experience with developing technical specifications based on customer requirements.
  • Experience with Web Development technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Experience with Configuration Management tools.
  • Experience with.NET (C#).
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (Scrum).
  • Knowledge of code version control tool (Git preferably).
  • Strong team player with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Spanish and English).
  • Ability to step up when situation demands, meeting deadlines.
  • Performance-driven, highly motivated to face challenges.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of science principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with databases, persistence frameworks, and SQL.
