About the Role

Serco is a leading Space Services Provider with a rich history in the space sector. We are seeking a highly skilled Space System Engineer to join our team in Europe.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the technical management of the system and segment infrastructure evolution activities;
  • Support the system development follow-up, system qualification, and acceptance activities;
  • Participate in system anomaly review boards and contribute to the analysis of system anomalies;
  • Analyze requirements traceability from mission level to segment requirements;
  • Prepare acceptance milestones and contribute to trade-offs between deployment and migration scenarios;
  • Represent Serco in relevant boards and analyze changes to be implemented in the system;
  • Produce and maintain up-to-date physical architecture diagrams.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering;
  • 2-10 years of relevant experience in space system and segment infrastructure design and development;
  • Experience with GNSS, particularly on Galileo and EGNOS, is a strong asset;
  • Experience with COMSEC items and PRS information is a strong asset;
  • DOORS experience is a plus;
  • Availability to go on missions;
  • Comfortable working in a diverse and multinational team environment;
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken;
  • Knowledge of another EU member state language is an asset;
  • Eligible to work in the EU and obtain a EU Security Clearance.
