Key Responsibilities- Pitch, write, and produce SEO-driven articles every week, focusing on wedding and lifestyle trends.
- Identify opportunities to update and further optimize existing content, ensuring it remains relevant and engaging.
- Conduct keyword research to track performance and identify new content opportunities, driving conversions for our owned and operated e-commerce products and third-party partners.
- Analyze content metrics and performance, applying learnings to inform future content strategies.
- Collaborate with other colleagues, teams, and departments to create strategic content opportunities, representing the brand as one of the voices of The Knot Worldwide.
- Stay current on weddings, lifestyle, and media industries, ensuring our content remains fresh and relevant.
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field, with previous experience working for an online magazine.
- Exceptional writing skills, with 1-3 years of professional experience writing for an online brand or digital publication.
- Experience working in a team and collaborating cross-functionally with other teams on projects and initiatives.
- Extreme attention to detail, with a strong commitment to hitting deadlines, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and keyword targeting, with the ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity with a wealth of fun and new ideas, as well as a good eye for design, style, and trends.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop or other photo editing platforms, with experience working within a CMS (content management tools).
- Experience with Skimlinks, AWIN, Google Analytics, Semrush, and/or other analytic tools.
