Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Inmuno-Chemical Control Manager to join our Biopharma division at Grifols, S.A. This is a key position within our Quality Control department, responsible for overseeing the laboratory's analytical operations and ensuring compliance with established quality standards and production plans.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Oversight: Ensure daily operations of the immunochemistry laboratory are conducted in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and efficient workflow.
- Team Management: Supervise and manage laboratory personnel, including HR functions such as scheduling, training, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
- Procurement and Inventory Management: Administer procurement and inventory management of laboratory materials, reagents, and consumables, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for immunochemical assays and bioanalytical testing, including GMP guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Validate the accuracy and precision of analytical results and laboratory procedures through regular quality control and quality assurance measures.
- Sample Management: Oversee sample management processes, including receipt, handling, processing, and analysis, maintaining rigorous standards for sample integrity and data accuracy.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and support in immunochemical techniques.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and operation of laboratory equipment, adhering to manufacturer's specifications and maintenance schedules.
- Financial Management: Manage the laboratory budget, including personnel costs, consumables, and equipment expenditures, optimizing resource allocation for operational efficiency.
- Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular safety audits and inspections.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Experience: Significant experience managing a laboratory in an industrial setting, with previous experience conducting bioassays highly valuable.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams.
- Quality Management: Strong background in quality management within the pharmaceutical industry, including knowledge of pharmacopoeias and GMP regulations.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in Office 365, particularly Excel (advanced level), QUERYs, and Power BI.
- Language Skills: Advanced English level (C1.1 or above).
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, combined with effective communication abilities.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a sharp attention to detail and a dedication to upholding high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
- LEAN Experience: Experience working under the LEAN model will be valued.
