The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bicycle Workshop Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the maintenance of our rental bikes and will oversee a team of mechanics to ensure that our customers receive their bikes in perfect condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a workshop team of up to 30 mechanics to ensure efficient and effective bike maintenance.
- Set productivity targets for the different workshop teams to optimize performance.
- Hire new staff in accordance with our HR department's guidelines.
- Liaise with the rental manager and shop manager to improve workshop-related procedures.

Requirements
- Experience as a bicycle mechanic or up-to-date knowledge of the latest bike technology.
- Previous experience in a similar role, managing a department.
- Excellent people management skills, with experience managing a team of 10 or more.
- Fluency in English and good verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate-level Spanish to communicate with local employees and suppliers.
- A passion for cycling and experience as a road cyclist or mountain biker.
