Job Title: Chemometrician - Process Optimization Expert
About Us: Iris Technology Solutions is a leading engineering company specializing in process monitoring and control solutions, as well as novel technologies for process optimization.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Chemometrician to join our team of scientists and engineers involved in R&D projects related to Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) for quality control and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize sample measurement procedures to ensure accurate and reliable data.
- Acquire and handle spectra using various optical devices and spectroscopic technologies, including hyperspectral cameras, probes, and Raman spectroscopy.
- Apply chemometrics and machine learning models to analyze and interpret data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analysis into process optimization strategies.
- Develop and maintain software programs using languages such as Matlab, Python, and R to handle and analyze spectra.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field, with a strong background in chemometrics and data analysis.
- Expertise in hyperspectral imaging, particularly in food or pharmaceutical applications.
- Proficiency in chemometrics techniques, including multivariate analysis (PLS, MCR-ALS, SVM, PLS-DA, etc.).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Matlab, Python, and R.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
