Senior Data Science Role

Product Madness Espana, S.L. is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for leading projects and working with a large and diverse set of data.

Responsibilities
  • Translate business problems into measurable analytical components.
  • Implement methodologies to generate, collect, and measure data for business use.
  • Use big data environments for analysis and work with engineers in data collection and curation.
  • Work with unstructured/semi-structured data to extract useful analytic measures.
  • Perform statistical analysis on experimental or business data to validate and quantify trends or patterns.
  • Define best practices for analysis and visualization.
  • Collaborate with key business leaders to understand business problems and leverage analytic tools and processes.
  • Write advanced SQL for exploratory analysis.
  • Translate computational solutions/statistical models to implementable code.
  • Construct recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.
  • Lead or collaborate with a team of data scientists, business intelligence analysts, or big data engineers on analytical projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor/Master/PhD degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience solving analytical problems using quantitative and qualitative approaches.
  • Worked with large data sets, moving computation towards the data layer.
  • Used machine learning and modeling.
  • Experience using visualization techniques to record and communicate findings.
