What Will Make You Succeed in This Position?
  • Language: English is the program language (oral and written); Spanish is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of data migration tools and technologies: including ETL, SQL, and data mapping software
  • Experience with various database management systems
  • Understanding of data governance principles, data quality, and data security
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale data migration projects
  • Strong project management skills: including planning, execution, and risk management
  • Excellent analytical skills: to understand complex data structures and relationships
  • Ability to identify and resolve data-related problems effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills: to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
Your Mission in the Role

As a Data Migration Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire data migration process from legacy systems to new platforms. You will develop comprehensive data migration plans, including timelines, resources, and risk management strategies. You will identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies to address them. You will work closely with IT and business teams to validate data and ensure its integrity before and after migration. You will monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and quality standards. You will implement data validation and verification procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
