The Adler Pelzer Group is a leading global supplier of acoustic and thermal insulation for the automotive industry. With over 15,000 employees at approximately 100 production and engineering sites, we deliver to all major automotive manufacturers worldwide.

We are establishing a new Financial Centre of Excellence in Zaragoza city and seeking a skilled Accountant to join our General Ledger team. The ideal candidate will have fluent English and Spanish language skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage general bookings and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Support and participate in month-end closing operations, including scheduling and communication with controllers and plants.
  • Open and close modules, communicate with controllers and plants, and determine month-end accruals for all topics.
  • Support pensions, tax, and deferred tax booking and reconciliation.
  • Manage and implement account reconciliations, controls, and compliance.
  • Manage inter- and intra-company reconciliations.
  • Analyze and justify P&L and BS account balances.
  • Manage and validate month-end closing bookings with controllers.
  • Interface with internal and external auditors.
  • Manage account revaluation (foreign currency).
  • Process payments, bank statements, and bookings, and perform bank reconciliation.
Requirements:
  • Completed degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience in accounting and finance administration.
  • Experience in a large multinational company, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • SAP knowledge.
  • Fluent English and Spanish language skills.
  • Experience in a Shared Service environment is advantageous.
