SLS Barcelona, a luxury urban resort, is seeking an experienced Beverage Director to join our pre-opening team. As a Beverage Director, you will be responsible for leading the beverage operations and ensuring exceptional service standards in our hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the operations of all food and beverage outlets within the hotel, ensuring seamless service and high-quality beverage products.
- Manage beverage control, including inventory, bar pars, costs controls, and sales analysis.
- Negotiate with suppliers and implement brand contracts to ensure the highest quality products.
- Develop and implement beverage policies and procedures, training teams on liquor control and service standards.
- Monitor adherence to liquor control policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and exceptional service.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring they meet set standards.
- Facilitate communication among teams, ensuring seamless service and high-quality products.
- Support the Director of Food and Beverage in administrative tasks, including departmental reports and strategic planning.
- Develop and implement training programs for new hires, ensuring successful job performance.
Requirements
- Degree in Hospitality or related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in hospitality, preferably in a management role.
- Proven team leadership skills, with a high level of energy and motivation.
- Knowledge of local market trends and supplier relationships.
- Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in Spanish and English.
