About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Programme Manager to join our Amazon Rail team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable rail movements between our fulfillment and transportation hubs.

Your primary focus will be on creating innovative solutions using data and research to address wider challenges in our organization. You will work closely with senior leadership to establish and prioritize improvement programmes, overseeing complex, cross-functional programmes with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create data-driven solutions to address organizational challenges
  • Develop and implement improvement programmes with senior leadership
  • Oversee complex, cross-functional programmes with internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive Amazon's sustainability goals through engagement with rail partners
  • Leverage large data and performance metrics to drive business results
  • Lead business reviews with Amazon leadership and senior-level rail executives
About the Team

Our Amazon Rail team is responsible for planning and executing efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable rail movements between our fulfillment and transportation hubs. We are a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience defining programme requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience owning programme strategy and end-to-end delivery
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Relevant experience in rail
  • Experience managing teams
