Job Description

Job Title: English Teacher for Young Learners

Job Type: Part-time, Contract

Contract Length: 8 months

Expected Hours: 10 per week

Experience: Teaching English: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification: Teaching certificates (Required)

Work Location: In person

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced English teacher to join our team at English ROOM Academy. As an English teacher for young learners, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where children can develop their language skills while having fun.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English to children between the ages of 6 to 10
  • Help students build a foundation in speaking and writing skills using our fun and engaging method
  • Develop innovative lesson plans and activities that capture children's attention and imagination
  • Maintain a supportive learning environment and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in English education and incorporate innovative teaching methodologies

Requirements:

  • A degree in English, Education, or a related field is preferred
  • Advanced level (C1) in English
  • Well-organized with good time management skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility with work hours and availability
  • Experience in working with very young learners
  • A good command of Spanish

What We Offer:

  • A fixed-term contract for 8 months
  • A competitive salary of approximately 400€ - 600€ per month
