About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bioinformatics Consultant to join our dynamic team of experts in the field of bioinformatics and computational biology. As a Bioinformatics Consultant, you will play a key role in applying state-of-the-art bioinformatics tools and our advanced proprietary Systems Biology Platform to generate hypotheses on disease mechanisms, drug response biomarkers, and drug targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery: Apply bioinformatics tools and our Systems Biology Platform to generate hypotheses and support innovation in biomedical research.
  • Project management: Work independently and as part of the team to carry out bioinformatics analyses, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Client Service: Scope bioinformatics projects by understanding client needs and developing analytical strategies to meet them.
  • Portfolio development: Contribute to the improvement of existing and development of new offerings within Bioinformatics Consulting.
About the Team

We are a growing team of over 20 bioinformatics consultants based in Barcelona, Spain, with some team members based throughout the rest of Spain and the US. We provide a wide range of bioinformatics services supporting clients from big pharma to small biotech start-ups, often leveraging Clarivate's unique content in drug discovery and translation.

What We Offer

We offer a dynamic team culture with a focus on collaboration and mutual support. This is a permanent full-time position at 40 hours a week (35 hours during July and August).
