At Mercury Engineering, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the engineering requirements of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and liaise with key project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Generate and manage engineering task logs to track project progress.
- Oversee the coordination process to transform design information into full installation drawings.
- Assist the installation package team in managing quality needs for the project.
- Assess subcontract and supplier tender returns for technical compliance.
- Manage the technical submittal and approvals process.
- Ensure works are installed in accordance with project specifications and QA plan.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure adequate information flow.
- Evaluate and promote the use of new engineering practices and processes.
- Prepare project completion criteria and close-out documents.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years' experience working with a recognized electrical contractor.
- Excellent organizational and project planning skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in use of Navisworks and database systems related to engineering functions.
- Familiar with project/Primavera planning software and CAD/BIM process.
- Ability to manage workload and priorities.
Desirable Skills:
- Ability to speak Spanish.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Knowledge of modularization (off-site fabrication).
