We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health and Safety Manager to join our Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U. - J27 team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving improvements in workplace safety and health, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and fostering a culture of safety and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of health and safety professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Analyse data reports and root causes to identify areas for improvement, providing leadership with the information needed to make informed decisions.
  • Develop and implement health and safety projects and policies, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Drive programs designed to improve the safety culture in Amazon, promoting a culture of safety and inclusivity among employees.

Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and Spanish.
  • Relevant experience managing a team and complying with local Health and Safety legislation.
  • Chartered membership of a Human Resources industry body (e.g., IOSH) to support people management.
  • Experience with Lean, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies, as well as qualifications or experience in the field of sustainability.
