Financial Controller Specialist

The Role:
As a Financial Controller Specialist, you will play a critical role in overseeing the preparation of financial information for our company entities. This will involve ensuring strict adherence to national and international accounting standards, and providing accurate reporting to senior management and governing bodies. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning and budgeting: Establishing criteria for annual budgets, coordinating their preparation, and ensuring timely completion.
2. Operational Accounting and Financial Administration: Internalizing accounting processes, monitoring compliance with local regulations, and supervising monthly financial and analytical closings.
3. Reporting: Validating and reporting results to center management, top management, and the board, including sales, EBITDA, and financial statements consolidation.
4. Team Management: Defining staffing needs, communicating with HR, and providing continuous feedback to team members. You will also be responsible for training and supervising the accounting managers team, and making decisions regarding vacations and promotions.
Requirements:
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in similar positions, such as Accounting Manager or Controller. A solid accounting foundation acquired in Audit or Consulting is highly recommended. Proficiency in English is essential, and experience in international accounting regulations, such as Spanish General Accounting Plan (PGC), US GAAP, and UK GAAP, is highly desirable.
