About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Developer to join our team at Bbva, focusing on the development of mathematical models for Equity and FX derivatives. As a key member of our Quantitative Development unit, you will work closely with our Trading Desks and other teams to design and implement valuation solutions for our Corporate & Investment Banking division.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with our Quantitative Analysis team to develop mathematical models for Equity and FX derivatives, ensuring accurate pricing and risk hedging.
  2. Drive the technical implementation of these models in our Global Markets systems and platforms.
  3. Optimize model computation time through improvements in risk valuation methodology, software, and hardware.
  4. Work with our Risks units to ensure compliance and approval of Equity and FX derivatives.
  5. Liaise with various teams involved in valuation model development and IT implementation.
  6. Provide support to our Trading Support unit on system configuration and valuation.
  7. Interact with external vendors and IT to coordinate solutions.
  8. Develop and maintain internal Quantitative & Business Solutions development and testing policies.
