Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Country Manager to lead our expansion in Spain. This role will be based in Spain and will report directly to the management team in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to scale BioNippy in Spain, driving business growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to scale BioNippy in Spain, including market research, sales, partnerships, logistics, and store operations.
  • Provide strategic direction and vision for success, driving the company's development and guiding it towards long-term success.
  • Explore new market opportunities in the Organic and Sustainable retail and logistics industry.
  • Develop local B2C and B2B partnerships, coordinating and testing marketing campaigns for different target groups.
  • Manage stakeholders, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful rollout of ambitious growth plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Retail experience as an International Business Developer/Country Manager/Regional Sales Manager/Sales Director/B2B Sales.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proactive, with experience in new business models, new channels, and execution-driven environments.
  • Experience working with international business units and international teams.
  • Able to prioritize and deliver within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated, independent, organized, highly responsive, flexible, and adaptable when working across multiple teams.
  • Confident working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft 365 group of products, and G-Suite, including the design and manipulation of data into fairly complex spreadsheets.
  • Experience in managing people and leading teams in a fast-paced and agile environment.
  • Ability to drive change across multiple units/countries.
  • High sense of urgency and ability to build and lead strong teams to achieve new levels of performance.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English language skills, and preferably another language (German, Italian, or Dutch).
