Key Responsibilities- Assess customer processes and develop mathematical models to predict system behavior
- Configure online applications to calculate process setpoints and dynamically control product quality, production capacity, and energy usage
- Lead technical project activities, including design, system integration, installation, data analysis, and application development
- Identify and resolve technical issues that impact project performance
- Provide product, engineering, and application support to existing customers
- Perform system and application health checks, performance analyses, and develop reports to document findings and recommendations
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or other engineering with a focus on modeling, statistics, or process control
- Strong interest in automation, process control, and advanced model-predictive applications
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in leading complex projects in a process industry
- Experience with instrumentation, industrial control systems, and supervisory control applications
- Experience with advanced process control implementation or business case development
- Familiarity with DCS (SCADA, HMI, etc.) and/or PLC configuration
- 3+ years of experience implementing advanced control solutions in a process manufacturing environment
- Experience leading complex projects
- Experience with industrial computing, networking, OPC, and ODBC/SQL data communications
- Experience with DCS (SCADA, HMI, etc.) and/or PLC configuration, especially in the context of integration with external applications
- Experience with Rockwell Automation or competitive model predictive control products
