We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager, Venture Capital to join our team at Importante empresa. This is a key leadership position that will provide strategic and financial guidance to our venture investments in the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership to our venture investments, including financial diligence, valuation analyses, and financial planning.
- Investment Support: Support our investors in shaping and influencing investment structures and decisions, driving financial efficiencies, and improving financial returns.
- Portfolio Management: Build relationships with portfolio company leadership, assess the ongoing health of portfolio investments, and lead accountability for investment plans to onboarding.
- Risk Assessment: Proactively assess risk in the portfolio and communicate to senior leadership.
- Financial Reporting: Partner with the JJI-JJDC finance team to prepare quarterly financial closing, risk assessment, analysis, reporting, and external audit requirements.
- Tax Compliance: Partner with the Tax team to comply with OUS tax matters related to portfolio companies.
- Global Fund Investments: Oversee financial management and analysis of global fund investments.
- Education: BA/BS required, CMA/MBA/CPA/CFA preferred.
- Experience: 10 years of progressive career advancement in either Finance or a related function, with experience in early stage Pharm or MedTech R&D; or Commercial finance.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, financial modeling, handling ambiguity, and an understanding of value creation concepts.
