We are looking for a proficient and seasoned Manager of IT Technology Platforms to lead our Infrastructure, Operations Technology, and Digital Transformation initiatives.

This position demands a strategic mindset, technical acumen, and strong leadership skills to manage the architecture, execution, and upkeep of our organization's IT framework. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, and related systems, along with a proven track record in overseeing intricate IT environments and Operations Technology in a research and development context.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership and Planning:

· Formulate and implement the IT Technology Platform strategy in alignment with the organization’s objectives in a managed services context.

· Provide guidance and leadership to the global IT Service Delivery and IT teams, nurturing a culture of innovation, efficiency, and ongoing enhancement.

· Streamline the strategic deployment and utilization of our Microsoft infrastructure.

· This involves establishing both short-term and long-term objectives, identifying key performance metrics, and tracking progress towards strategic goals.

2. Infrastructure and Operations Technology Development:

· Design, architect, and deploy scalable and resilient IT infrastructure solutions utilizing Microsoft technologies in collaboration with our outsourcing partners.

· Identify and implement technologies that enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation in partnership with external providers.

· Ensure optimal availability, performance, and security of all infrastructure components.

· Spearhead initiatives to stabilize interfaces, modernize legacy systems, and transition to cloud-based solutions where applicable.

3. Technology Innovation and Advancement:

· Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their potential implications for the company's IT and Operations Technology infrastructure and services.

· Promote the adoption of innovative technologies and solutions to enhance IT capabilities and facilitate business growth.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

· Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT Service Delivery and global IT teams, including system administrators, network engineers, and cloud specialists.

· Offer guidance to external service providers.

· Cultivate a collaborative, innovative, and continuous improvement culture within the global IT team.

5. Vendor Management and Strategic Partnerships:

· Oversee relationships with technology vendors and service providers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and service level agreements.

· Assess new products and solutions, conducting vendor evaluations and negotiating contracts as necessary.

· Collaborate with strategic partners to maximize the utilization of Microsoft technologies and deliver value to the organization.

6. Security and Compliance:

· Implement and uphold robust security protocols to safeguard the organization's IT infrastructure and data assets in conjunction with the IT Security Manager.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

· Over 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, focusing on Microsoft technologies.

· At least 5 years of experience in enhancing and managing IT and Operations Technology Infrastructure in a fully outsourced environment.

· Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting complex IT environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365.

· Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving shared objectives.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

· Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or Azure certifications are highly desirable.

· Solid understanding of IT security principles, best practices, and compliance requirements.
