We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Sportradar, a leading sports technology company. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing, aligning, and ordering data/reporting/analytic requirements against business priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the development of data/reporting/analytic requirements with the Business Intelligence team.
- Oversee the implementation of solutions and ensure timely release to market.
- Provide an agile working environment, organizing and facilitating team scrum events.
- Ensure team efficiency and high-quality work, enforcing tech excellence and tech debt management.
- Coach engineers to grow professionally and personally, providing frequent feedback and support.
- Conduct regular check-ins and 1-1 meetings, sharing experiences on new technologies and trends.
- Proven experience in the Data Space, especially in Big/Fast Data, Data in Cloud, and Data Engineering.
- High understanding of the end-to-end cycle of data, from ingestion to extracting value.
- At least 4 years' experience as a Technical Lead/Manager.
- Fluent in English; any other language is an asset.
- Experience in business requirements analysis and documentation.
- Experience in working with an Agile software methodology is a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency with 3+ years of hands-on experience working on robust and complex systems.
- Strong technical leadership experience and appreciation for engineering best practices.
- Passion for bringing great products into our world through collaboration and ingenuity.
