Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced International Tax Manager to join our Finance Team in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our Americas Tax Advisory Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and compliant tax outcomes for the Agoda Group of Companies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. International Tax Planning

Assist in developing and implementing international tax planning initiatives to optimize our global tax position.

Tax Advisory

Provide tax advisory services to support our business operations in the Americas region, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.

Project Coordination

Coordinate tax-related projects, including modeling for financial impact of taxes and reviewing business agreements and contracts involving cross-border transactions.

Compliance and Risk Management

Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, and identify and mitigate tax-related risks.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Commercial, and Product, to ensure effective tax planning and compliance.

Requirements

  1. Education

Degree in law or accounting, with a Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) or graduate degree in taxation preferred.

Experience

6 to 8 years of international tax experience in Big 4 public accounting, top law firm, or multinational corporation, with a focus on direct and indirect taxes.

Skills

Strong knowledge of international tax laws, project management expertise, and ability to work independently and productively.

Personal Qualities

Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work in different time zones, with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong attention to detail.
