Role OverviewKey Responsibilities
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will oversee the storage, distribution, and management of food and beverage supplies, general inventory, and ensure the cleanliness of storage areas in accordance with established standards.
Conduct daily checks on receiving and storage protocols to ensure compliance. Confirm that products are received, documented, stored, and issued in line with company policies. Collaborate with various departments regarding warehouse operations as needed. Distribute stock and supplies to staff upon receipt of properly approved requisition forms, adhering to standard operating procedures. Maintain application forms on file, ensuring they are completed accurately and acknowledged by the requesting party. Ensure all items in freezers are appropriately packed and labeled. Responsible for receiving, documenting, storing, and distributing all ordered goods and materials. Allocate received goods to the appropriate departments. Keep shipping and receiving logs current. Conduct and maintain inventory of storeroom products. QualificationsIdeal Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hotel accounting department. Strong multitasking abilities and a keen attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in both Spanish and English. Demonstrated ownership of responsibilities, problem-solving skills, and effective decision-making. Quick learner who adapts well to the unique culture of SLS. Open-minded and collaborative, valuing teamwork and shared success. Willingness to embrace innovative approaches and experiences.
