Submer Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for coordinating with Product Development and conducting Sourcing and Procurement for all assigned product categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement category strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify industry trends, potential suppliers, and competitive pricing.
  • Establish and manage a network of reliable suppliers.
  • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, focusing on securing favorable terms and conditions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement and category management, preferably in a technology startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of setting up and managing suppliers and categories from scratch.
  • International experience, with proven track record of setting up different regions.
