Our Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Platform Engineer, dedicated to managing DevHub, our Internal Developer Portal using Spotify Backstage.

This role involves collaborating with the DevHub product owner and other internal teams to build and maintain the platform.

We are looking for a candidate who can bridge the gap between technical and business aspects, with strong analytical capabilities and a deep understanding of platform engineering.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to innovate and grow.

Your Role
  • Collaborate globally with other IT departments and engage with suppliers.
  • Oversee the platform as the technical manager of DevHub and ensure its smooth operation.
  • Work closely with the DevHub Product Owner to identify actionable insights and analyze platform performance data.
  • Generate regular reports for various stakeholders, offering objective performance measurements to aid in decision-making.
  • Manage stakeholders in complex environments with diverse cultures.
  • Adapt to change and uncertainty while coordinating multiple senior project team members.
  • Integrate Spotify Backstage with various internal tools and services.
  • Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and continuously improved based on user feedback.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Exceptional proficiency in English communication.
  • Proven experience in platform engineering, preferably with Spotify Backstage.
  • Proficiency in managing cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
  • Capability of performing routine tasks such as system configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaboration with technical teams to ensure the smooth integration of systems.
  • Utilization of analytical techniques to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Shell, or similar.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
