About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our sustainability efforts in Spain and the European Union. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with our company's goals and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sustainability strategy for Spain and the EU, ensuring alignment with evolving regulations and standards.
  • Represent our company towards internal and external stakeholders, positioning us as a leader in sustainable finance in Europe.
  • Collaborate with the Group Sustainability team, sustainability delegates, and innovation teams to ensure the successful implementation of strategic measures.
  • Support corporate reporting and ensure the integration of sustainability-related initiatives across the organization.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Head Sustainability or senior sustainability leader, with a track record of developing and implementing successful strategies.
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to translate sustainability goals into actionable plans and drive results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead through influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Good understanding of sustainability regulations and general sustainability principles, trends, and best practices.
