Mews is a leading company in the industry, and we're seeking a highly experienced and analytical senior individual contributor to join our Strategic Finance Team.

Role Overview

This role will focus on building robust business cases, partnering with various business units, and modeling opportunities across our diverse product portfolio and expansion strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive business cases for new initiatives and strategic projects.
  • Model the path forward for countries, OKRs, and product lines in collaboration with the business.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and strategic guidance.
  • Model opportunities across SaaS products, geo expansion, and segment expansion.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making processes.
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track the success of strategic initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
  • Hand over business cases to the Planning team (sibling team), as they go into a committed stage.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a consulting firm, investment bank, or a similar role within other hyper-growth companies working with scaling SaaS companies.
  • Proven track record of building and evaluating business cases and financial models.
  • Driving business impact.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of fintech industries is highly desirable.
  • Experience with geo and segment expansion strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
