If you view problems as treasures and enjoy diving deep to identify root causes and developing long-term, scalable solutions, this is the job for you The position represents an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and high paced environment in a role that supports a global organization and offers significant opportunities for rapid growth.Si cree que es el candidato ideal para la siguiente oportunidad, envíe su solicitud después de leer la descripción completa.Key responsibilitiesPerforming audit reviews across Amazon's financial systems using Amazon internal and third-party audit tools with the highest degree of accuracyManaging vendor queries/disputes on audit claims and identifying the root-cause of vendor disputes, wherever applicableCommunicating with process owning teams to validate findings and reduce defects in the processesReporting on audit findings/defects on a regular basisCoordinating with various accounting and finance vertical teams (Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable) to ensure procedures and controls are routinely applied whilst performing audit operationsContributing to process improvements required to enhance controls and/or optimize team productivityContributing to standard operating procedure (SOP) enhancements and calibrationActively participating in strategic initiatives and special projects, as appropriateAbout the teamGlobal Financial Audit (GFA) is a Finance function operating through both internal and external teams with the objective to recover missed or underbilled funding, overpayments and savings due to Amazon from current and prior periods. Scope includes Stores Vendors (Inventory), Non-Inventory Vendors (construction, contract compliance etc.), Corporate, Subsidiaries and affiliated business units, wherever possible. In addition, GFA works proactively with upstream tech and process owning teams to identify and reduce defects based on root cause reporting owned by GFA, and focuses on vendor experience improvements by reviewing vendor contacts/correspondence and monthly vendor experience metrics.Basic QualificationsKnowledge of Excel at an advanced levelExperience with Microsoft Office products and applicationsPreferred Qualifications1+ years of fraud audits/risk investigations experienceMBAKnowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
