Senior Business Analyst – APIs / BaaS / PaymentsPara una comprensión completa de esta oportunidad y de lo que se requerirá para ser un candidato exitoso, siga leyendo.Location: Malaga, Spain (Onsite) - Either there already or willing to relocateSector: Global Transaction BankingContract: 6 months initiallyRate: DOEWe're supporting a tier-one global bank on a major Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) and API platform transformation, building the next generation of payments, cash management, and trade APIs for internal and external consumers.This is a senior, hands-on Business Analyst role sitting at the intersection of API design, regulation, and AI governance — ideal for someone who has operated in complex, regulated financial environments and understands how APIs become commercial products.Why this role stands outWork on a global API platform aligned to ISO 20022 & Open BankingHigh exposure to payments and transaction bankingOwnership of AI governance across API and AI-native initiativesReal influence over API standards, security, and monetisationOnsite collaboration in Malaga with global stakeholdersWhat you'll be doingLeading business analysis across Payments, Collections, Receivables, Cash Management & Trade APIsTranslating regulatory and business requirements into API-first designs, user stories, and data modelsActing as the squad's business, compliance, and AI governance voiceDefining API standards, metrics, SLOs, and SLAs with platform teamsSupporting API monetisation and billing enablementWorking closely with Product, Architecture, Security, and Platform teamsUsing AI-native xsgfvud tools (e.g. ChatGPT Enterprise, Azure OpenAI, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery and traceabilityWhat we're looking for8+ years in Financial ServicesStrong API / BaaS transformation experienceDeep knowledge of ISO 20022, Open Banking, PSD2Solid understanding of API security (OAuth 2.1, mTLS, OIDC)Experience with Apigee or IBM API ConnectExposure to AI governance / LLMOps in regulated environmentsComfortable working onsite in MalagaLanguageEnglish: FluentSpanish: Preferred
