The contract will be within the framework of the Cystic Fibrosis project from the Diputació de Barcelona and the Catalan Cystic Fibrosis AssociationMain tasks and responsibilities / The successful candidate will develop research involving:Expertise in bacteria manipulation.Bacterial genetics.Characterization of different bacterial biofilms.Use of nanoparticles to deliver antimicrobials in bacterial biofilms.Galleria mellonellainfections.Cell culture manipulations and infections.Requirements for candidates:Essential:Ph.D. in biology, biotechnology, or similar areas but with microbiology background and expertise.Previous experience in bacteria advance microscopy, cell culture biology and bacterial infections.It will be a plus if the candidate has experience in microfluidics and nanoparticle characterization.Competencies and skills: Excellent communication and teamworking skills, proactivity, commitment, critical and analytical thinkingHigh level of English.We Offer:Number of available positions: 1Starting date: April 2023Working conditions:1 year Full time x-year contract. xx years, part-time employment contract.
