The contract will be within the framework of current basic and applied activities of the laboratory and includes characterizing the chemistry, photochemistry, in vitro, and in vivo pharmacological properties of small molecules and their dependence with illumination.Main tasks and responsibilities / The successful candidate will develop research involving:Molecular design, including computationalcompound synthesis, including organic and medicinal chemistry approachesCompound characterizarion (chemical and photochemical)In vitro cellular assays including high throughput characterizationDissemination activitiesRequirements for candidates:Essential:PhD in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry or equivalent fieldExperience and publications in chemical characterization of drugsExpertise in technology transfer activities (e.g. patents)Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork and collaboration, Commitment, Proactivity, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.High level of EnglishAdvantageous:Experience in biological characterization assaysWe Offer:Number of available positions: 1Starting date: 1/12/2025Working conditions:Full timecontract.12 monthsCompetitive salary.Measures to reconcile work and family life (maternity and paternity leave, flexible schedule working hours, 23 working days of paid holidays, 9 leave days for personal matters, among others).IBEC ensures equality of access to professional development opportunities irrespective of employment status, length at IBEC or other factors.
