You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.A Day in the LifeThe ConnectMe Sales Representative is a sales role that is designed to enhance accessibility to product and service solutions for our customers and thus improve the overall Surgical Innovations (SI) customer experience with a technology enabled, an innovative remote selling capability that will enhance accessibility to product and service solutions.The ConnectMe Sales Representative is specifically growing & maintaining SI sales revenue for selected products and accounts and supporting the sales execution in instrumentation in a number of selected accounts. She/he is part of the overall SI Commercial team in her/his country and works closely with the Field Sales & Marketing Team as well as the KAM (Key Account Managers), IHS (Integrated Health Solutions) and tender organization (if applicable).Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Working proactively and in a structured way on Market Analytics and Market Research around customers, competitors, and general market trends for Andalucia and Canary Islands.Translating the results of his market insights into a clear prioritization of sales activity.Promoting assigned product portfolio with best practice, clinical or non‑clinical evaluation, demos, and product trainings (remotely using all available technology).Leading the price & contract negotiations to successfully close customer deals.Ensuring repeat purchase orders by understanding customer buying decisions making process & patterns.Communicating & aligning on a regular basis with field sales force and local Marketing organization.Collaborating with KAM/tender & contract departments on managing large scale tender and/or contract sales cycle of his accounts.Required Knowledge and Experience:B.A degree in a business relevant discipline and/or business relevant experience.2+ years of remote sales experience, preferably in Medical Devices Healthcare or Science related industry.Field sales experience – Operating Room Related - in the Medical Devices industry highly valued.Fluency in English and Spanish.Strong negotiation skills & ability to close deals with customers remotely.Strong presentation/communication skills over the phone, including the ability to conduct effective virtual demos and adapt messaging to both clinical and procurement audiences.Digital mindset: Familiarity with social selling strategies and digital marketing.Experience with CRM (Salesforce) and digital sales tools, with disciplined pipeline management execution, accurate forecasting, and consistent documentation of all interactions.Strong results orientation and achievement of objectives.Occasional travel (max up to 20%) to selected accounts in the country required.Driving license.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package.
