The role focuses on thetechnical implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of tracking and measurement systemsacross web and mobile applications.The Tracking Specialist is responsible fordesigning and deploying client-side and server-side tracking architectures, ensuring accurate, scalable and compliant data collection. The role works closely with product, marketing and data teams to translate measurement requirements into robust technical implementations.Day-to-day responsibilities includeimplementing and debugging tracking setups,developing and maintaining APIs and data collection endpoints,managing tag management systemsand continuously improving data quality, reliability, and performance.QualificationsStrong expertise inweb and app tracking implementation, including event modeling and data layer design.Proven experience withserver-side tracking setups, such as server-side Google Tag Manager or custom server-side collection architectures.ExcellentJavaScript development skills, with a focus on clean, maintainable, and well-structured tracking code.Experience developing andintegrating APIs for event collection, transformation, and delivery to analytics and marketing platforms.Hands-on experience withmultiple Tag Management Systems (TMS)and complex tag, trigger, and variable configurations.Advanced proficiency inGoogle Analytics 4, including event schemas, parameters, and validation workflows.Stronganalytical and debugging skills to validate data accuracy and resolve tracking issues.Good command of SQLfor querying, validating, and analyzing event-level data.Familiarity withBigQueryfor working with large-scale analytics datasets.Experience implementing and configuringConsent Management Platforms (CMP)and ensuring tracking compliance.Flexibility and GrowthFlexible work setup:Fully remote role with flexibility around working hours, focused on outcomes and ownership.High impact:You will work on tracking architectures that directly influence product decisions, marketing performance and data reliability.Growth path:Opportunity to grow into a Lead Tracking role, owning measurement strategy, technical standards and implementation frameworks across multiple clients and platforms.Technical development:Exposure to modern tracking stacks including server-side tracking, BigQuery-based validation, multi-TMS environments and privacy-first measurement practices. xsgfvud Continuous learning:Support for upskilling through real-world projects, internal knowledge sharing and improving how tracking is implemented and validated at scale.
